Everest 2009 - Expedition objectives

The main objectives of the expedition are:

• Get safely as many summiteers on top of Everest as possible
• Be the first fully Finnish expedition on top of Mount Everest
• Collect information and experience from very demanding mountain environment
• Undertake scientific research of acute mountain sickness in high altitude
• Document the whole expedition by photographs and video footage
• Tell actively about the expedition in the media
