The first target of the expedition has been reached - we have found Yeti! We gathered in Linnanmäki to show the gear and clothes from our main sponsor Halti. We were welcomed by the first nice winter day in Helsinki area. After pitching our tent and setting up other gear we noticed that the Yeti was walking directly to us! He tested the Halti Antarctica Pro tent and gave a thumbs up that it is just right choice to Himalaya.

Apart from chatting with visitors in the camp we had a lecture where we talked with numerous people about previous experiences in Himalaya and of course the coming challenges this spring. Even though the Helsinki area was not covered by the snow the conditions in Linnanmäki were pretty wintery. The Linnanmäki winter wonderland continues until 24.2. We recommend you to pop in and have some quality time with children.
